Snellmarine primarily provides crew and operational support for vessels operating in Finnish domestic maritime traffic, including inland waterways, archipelago routes and coastal passenger vessels.

Our personnel are familiar with Finnish maritime regulations and domestic operational practices.

Pricing

For Finnish domestic operations, services are typically based on hourly or project-based agreements.

For international crewing projects, pricing is agreed case-by-case together with the client, taking into account:

  • vessel type

  • crew requirements

  • operational area

  • applicable labour agreements and regulations.

Crew Service Packages

(Finnish Domestic Maritime Operations)

Alpha Package

Master – Deck Command

For vessels where the master's responsibility does not include chief engineer duties.

Typical for inland vessels where a separate engine officer is not required.

Operating area:
Finnish inland waterways / Domestic Traffic I

Hourly rate:
25.50 € / hour


Medi Package

Master – Combined Command

Includes both Master and Chief Engineer responsibilities.

Suitable for vessels operating in domestic coastal traffic where the master manages both deck and engine operations.

Operating area:
Domestic Traffic I–II / Coastal domestic operations

Hourly rate:
35.45 € / hour


Omega Package

Master – Full Operational Responsibility

Includes:

  • Master duties

  • Chief engineer responsibilities

  • Shipyard supervision when required

Suitable for vessels operating in more demanding domestic or coastal operations.

Operating area:
Inland waters / Coastal / Open sea (Domestic Traffic III)

Hourly rate:
50 € / hour


 Custom Crewing Packages

Every vessel and operation is different.

Snellmarine can design custom crewing arrangements based on the client's operational requirements.

Packages may be:

  • combinations of existing service levels

  • project-based crew arrangements

  • tailored operational support agreements.

Terms of Service

Billing begins from the first confirmed vessel service day.

An introductory familiarization day may be billed, however in some cases Snellmarine may offer the first familiarization day without charge.

Hourly rates are subject to applicable VAT.

Travel expenses are normally not invoiced. Billing begins from the time of departure towards the vessel when travel is required for vessel service.

In case of disagreements, Snellmarine and the client will primarily aim to resolve the matter through mutual discussion.

All cooperation agreements are confirmed in writing.
